Getting Concrete

Finally getting a driveway!

Today we started the driveway process. It actually
started a week ago with gravel and grading.
To see this come together
creates a little light at the end of the tunnel!

Cody landing his Millennium in the big LZ at Randolph

This past Sunday Cody and I flew Randolph. It was a great soaring
day as I was able to easily thermal around for a few hours.
Cody schooled me with his rigid wing. He managed about 2.5 hours
and flew to the Idaho border, tagged Wyoming and ended his flight back in Utah.

And The Process Still Continues

The south side of the house. The deck supports are diagonal braces to allow for the maximum
usable yard area. The slope starts about 20 feet from the house.

Starts With A Concept

Early in 2015 we bought a lot and began playing with different designs that might be appropriate for the land. The lot appeared at first to have limitations, but the more we worked on concepts we realized the limitations were minimal. My goal was a home that flowed with the terrain. Sounds corny, but true! This model is very close to the actual design we used.
The Process Begins

Summer 2015 - CONCRETE!
The Big House

June 2015, we started building a new home in East Layton (pronounced Lay-n for those non-Utah folks). It's been a great process so far. Stay tuned for more pics and updates!
